Both 2009 Porsche Boxster and Porsche Cayman are powered by the same a 2.9 liter flat six engine. With the engine, the Boxter may develops 255 hp while the Cayman may outputs 265 hp. For the S versions, the engine will be equipped with a 3.4 liter unit with 310 hp in the Boxster S and 320 hp in the Cayman S.
