Mercedes GL42 Black Line is a result of the latest upgrade program for the Mercedes GL Class. Based on the GL 420 CDI, Mercedes GL42 Black Line  has received a power upgrade with a V8 engine under the bonnet that has received an ECU upgrade.

Mercedes GL42 Black Line may reach its top speed at 280km/h and develops 360hp and 900Nm of torque.Mercedes GL42 Black Line features a two-pass sports exhaust system and also equipped with an offroad package that includes a new grille, larger fenders, running boards, and a roof-edge spoiler.
