Yes the answer is Halo 3….Microsoft says that Halo 3 sold more than $170 million worth in the first 24 hours on sale. Not bad. That beats the $151 million of Spider-Man 3’s box office results in its first day, a record set earlier this year. There is no surprise here that the Halo universe is expanding to more players. But the question will be for how long this continues and how many new players are drawn into the Halo and Xbox 360 fold because of this game. Microsoft has set gaming and entertainment history for the first day.
